Here is an offshoot of my original cassette tape case, available in my designs.
This remix adds customizable album art templates. Believe it or not, there is a thriving tape release community among DIY and underground music labels.
This is designed to be printed without support structures with a recommended layer height of .2mm. I'm including versions with a rectangular top insert and a round top insert. Print either LogoCassette1RectangulerHole.stl or LogoCassette1RoundHole.stl, then print LogoCassette2 and LogoCassette3. Open LogoCassetteTemplate.skp in SketchUp and customize with your band's album art before printing. I recommend using one color for parts 1 and 2 and another color for the part 3 and the logos.
I am only including the pictures of the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon logos as examples of what you can do. I do not own the copyright to that album art, so I can't include it here. (And please don't ask for it.)
If you customize or remix this, please list this file as the source and follow the rules of Creative Commons - Attribution - Share Alike.
Before attempting to print this, make sure your printer is well calibrated. The parts are designed to fit snugly.
Big thanks and credit to my friend Austin Gaines for coming up with the idea.
