I created this simple PTFE cap in response to a question about air leaking into the AMS unit from my y-splitter (Y-Splitter for the Bambu Lab X1C AMS). While I haven't had any issues, it does raise a valid point if you are in a high humidity location or are using materials that need to be kept as dry as possible.
As designed, the cap should fit snugly on any PTFE tube with a 4mm outside diameter. It was designed with a subtle taper that narrows from 4.3 mm to 4.0 mm from bottom to top. You can scale it up or down in the slicer as needed or edit the included Fusion 360 or STEP files.
I printed my cap with PETG in less than 10 minutes and the fit was very tight. Printing with TPU should be a great option as well.
