Update 1/19/2024: I've added a new back with a ball joint to give better flexibility with printing a single back for multiple mounting options.

A simple case for using an LD2410C radar sensors with an ESP32 S2 Mini. I've included a little spacer that can be slid over the pins of the LD2410C to help with soldering to the ESP board. The lid has a cutout for the light sensor and the case body has holes for accessing the reset and programming mode buttons.

I'm using the this YAML configuration to integrate with Home Assistant.

  1. Print
  2. Slide the spacer over the pins on the LD2410C
  3. Solder the LD2410C to the ESP32.
  4. Trim the pins on the back of the ESP32 as flush to the board as possible.
  5. Slide the board into the case:
    1. Put the side with the radar in first. There's a lip on the inside of the case that the ESP board should sit on.
    2. Lower the rest of the board into place.
  6. Pop on the back cover.
