For my 3D printer I wanted to have a possibility
to load different tools onto my X Carriage without much effort
e.g. Hotend, Drill, Dial Gauge ....
As I did not find something matching, I decided to create something
by myself.
Eventhough the result looks quite nuclear, its not radioactive at all
and even easy
put the two Halves together, rotate by 45 degrees and lock it with
a simple stick(e.g. nail) . This results in a firm connection.
I have attached the source STL file so the quick mount can be parameterized, and of course assembled to your design. Just make sure during design already that ,the hole of the first half points up and the hole of the second half points down
I am sure, it can also be used in other areas but 3d Printers ...
Integrate the SCAD File into your design and print it.
The Handles are there to be able to operate the quickmount in the
absence of something useful. its difficult to rotate a circle ;)
its advicable to use a layer thickness of < 0.3mm so the teeth
become smooth.
