I moded my ender 5 to a mercury one.1 with direct extrusion and turned the spool in the Y direction to reduce the machine's footprint. The support is designed to attach the bowden tube couplers (making the thread by force) to the piece. It is printed on ASA but I think it can be printed on any standard filament (I had already loaded the ASA filament and didn't want to change the nozzle)
To connect the support to the machine I have used an m5 and an m3 screw that I have laying around.
Please ignore the cable mess I'm still working on it.
