PDF

This little gizmo holds a miniature pushbutton switch (see photos) and has magnets on the bottom to enable it to be held firmly on steel/iron metal surfaces.

The pushbutton switch used is designed to be panel mounted in a 1/4" (7mm) hole.

The magnets are 9.5mm diameter and 2.5mm thick.

To use this print, simply push the magnets into the bottom recesses (they are held by friction) and mount the switch in the central hole.

Print instructions

Print in PLA using the 3mf file provided; otherwise :

  • perimeters = 3
  • 15% rectilinear infill
  • print upside down

The easiest way to insert the magnets is to partially insert them into the bottom recess and then push the holder down firmly on a flat surface. This is easier if you insert the magnets before mounting the (pre-wired) switch.
