Caliper case with two separated parts with the optional magnet holders and optional hanging hole.
The original caliper name in Cyrillic is «ШЦ 1-125 0,1 (КЛ2)». Must hold other similar 125 mm calipers.
Both parts fit firmly, but 6x3 mm magnets can be put in place if needed. On the top, next to the magnet place, there is a spot for a hole you can do manually to hang it on the wall, etc.
The magnet hole in the middle of the bottom part if you want to keep the caliper better with the top lid open.
Please check the correct position of the hanging hole if you decide to drill it as the proposed mark might be not fully accurate.
There is some protrusion on the "head" of the parts, to help open the case, the top part spot is asymmetric so as not to cover the hanging hole on the bottom part (if used).
You can use free space near the end of the caliper “tail” to take it off by finger easily.
I would also clue some pieces of soft foam material 5-8 mm thick on the inner side of the top cover to make sure the caliper does not move, or use the center magnet in the bottom part.
It can be printed on 20x20 cm plate placed diagonally. I used PLA plastic with 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height.
My first 3D model, sorry in advance for any issues. Please report in the comment if found.
As a base, I used a 3D model of the caliper made by Andrew Stasiuk. Inspired by another caliper case by @Jimbo60.
