Hello, does anybody knows if this mod works in K1C with GDSTIME 120x120 fan (it uses 0.5A instead of 0.8) but some comments mention that this creates an issue

It came out a little regular due to a bad fit, but I'm waiting to assemble it and try it. It's just an aesthetic thing, the design is perfect.

I currently have a K1 SE I'm adding an acrylic enclosure, which is on the way. Looking into adding the fans only issue I have is I don't know where I would need to drill to have the fans line up properly on the sheet. Thank you all in advance on this

use henlor's k1 cad model to get the measurements (edited)

@BreakerMoto_1950541
Where did you get your Acrylic Enclosure from? I as well have a K1 SE and have looked for quite some time for this. Thanks

@Blank that looks to be a completely different type of housing on that fan than this was designed for.. 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 (edited)

@DerrickDarrell Sorry I fixed the comment my bad

[multi_pin my_fan]
pins: PA0, PB1

[output_pin fan2]
pin = multi_pin:my_fan
pwm: True
cycle_time: 0.0100
hardware_pwm: false
value: 0.00
scale: 255
shutdown_value: 0.0

Hello, the 12032 fan for the dual fan, how much current should it be, that is, how many amps? I think the original Creality one is 24v and 0.8A but I can't find that current, only 0.5A. I have read that putting the original at 0.8A and the other at 0.5A does not work well.
And I have also read below that the 0.5A ones only turn on at 80%, that is, they start working at 80%.
Thanks

@LuisArroyo_479102 Hello, I got the same issue. I ordered GDSTIME 120x120, which is 0.5A. Should i connect it or there is a problem with that? Did you solve this issue?

@vkochlia_3210027 hello, is that true? did you resolve this issue?

fits on perfect, printed in PC-ABS

no need for drilling holes in the side panel. you can use a strong double sided tape it will work well. will not fall off.

Top result! Now I can print faster and more stable.
