I created this pantry door storage bin because I could not find an off-the-shelf solution that fit all of my needs. In particular, many organizers were too deep and extended into the pantry when the door was closed, smashing into items on shelves in the pantry. I was also having problems with smaller or thinner items, such as packets of gravy, falling through wire mesh shelves, so wanted something more solid.
It is designed for an 18" (46 cm) pantry door in the US. It is 4" (10 cm) deep, which is a little bit deeper than my door jam and millwork, but provides enough clearance for the shelves in my pantry. As long as no one in my household hangs items over the edge of the shelves, I have finally been able to close my pantry door without crushing things on the shelves.
I also included a small tool that may be used to space the two shelving standards. I printed two of them to use while mounting the standards.
I used the Automatic Painting button in Paint-on-Support in PrusaSlicer 2.6, along with supports “for support enforcers only” to paint the bottoms of the four shelving tabs. I used organic supports, but snug should work as well.
