This is a Remix of a previous model I made for feeding filament into the MMU2 if it is mounted inside the Prusa enclosure. It has been updated with honeycombs for a better match to Prusa aesthetics. Also, I have added rounder edges to the top part where the tube connectors screw into.

Both the rear top plug for the enclosure and the main filament guide tower are labeled 1-5 for easy filament identification.

The lid can be opened with this upgrade in place. Make sure that anything on top of the lid is tightened down first and not loose before you open it ;). If you have retractable filament systems like a rewinder for filament management it will retract and extend the filament when opening and closing the lid, making it very clean operation if you need to do maintenance on the MMU2.

UPDATE: The base has been modified so that it now goes over the protruding threaded parts that will be facing upwards if you have followed the Prusa directions and flipped the lid. It still can be mounted flush to the topside, but requires the screw being compressed a little. I have included some pictures on how to achieve this. No pre-compression is needed if mounting on the the threaded parts if the lid is inverted.

I have included the modified rear top plug file here for ease of finding all parts.

(File modified from the complete hinge upgrade kit: https://www.printables.com/model/273426-hinged-lid-for-adding-mmu2s-to-original-prusa-encl/files ).

As with the previous model you will need to do the following:

You will need to do the Hinge lid upgrade:

https://www.printables.com/model/273426-hinged-lid-for-adding-mmu2s-to-original-prusa-encl/files

This design works well with this design update for the MMU2: https://www.printables.com/model/6605-prusa-mmu2-ptfe-holder-m10-passthrough-adapter

You will need to purchase the tube connectors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IB81IHG/ref=oh\_aui\_detailpage\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tv-auto-20

I also used tube clips to prevent the tubes from getting out of place. These can be found through these links:
