This is a shape designed to fit a grip on the "Sanding pad ST-STF D150”

The pad broke due to old age, but it can still be very useful. So, I glued the foam back together and tried to create some kind of handle to use it manually.

Since it offers a ready ergonomic shape for the hand, I chose a mouse from this megapack. https://www.printables.com/model/113133-mouse-shape-tester-megapack

You can use any shape you want, as long as you use the "fit festool pad" model to boolean your way as you please.

The model requires an M8 bolt, which can be inserted in two different ways:

  1. Slice your model, then pause the print just before closing the hexagonal hole, insert the bolt, and resume printing.
  2. Determine the height of the pause and modify the model by adding connectors, then print as needed.

I used the second option for two reasons. First, I wanted to test the new connector feature in Prusa Slicer 2.6. Second, this method requires little to no support, aside from the hexagonal hole which may need some support.
