I have some Samsonite luggage that we got from Costco about 10 years ago, which have probably been around the world a few times. The rubber "tire" material on several of the spinner wheels have started to degrade, crumble, and fall off.
Aftermarket replacement wheel assemblies do seem to be available at around $20 on your favorite internet shopping site, but I didn't want to spend $80 per bag to replace the entire wheelset, when the wheels are fine - just the tire rubber needs replacing.
Also, I had picked up like 3 rolls of Amazon Basics Black TPU 95A which need to be used up on some practical project.
For reference, the existing wheels including tires are about 50mm in diameter and about 12mm wide.
You will likely need to prep & clean the old wheels a bit of the old rubber material using a pick or screwdriver. These seem to fit "gutentight", but I haven't yet given it the full-on travel test to see how well it holds up to parking lots, airports, & baggage handlers.
