I used supports but you may be able to get away with less / no supports if your printer has decent bridging. The zigzag supports add ~20% / 30g to the print. Using tree supports in Cura had marginal improvement.
Filament Used (with the above settings): 120 g w/o support, ~ 150 g w/ supports
Time to Print (with the above settings): 10 hrs w/o support, 13 hrs w/ supports
