Description

PDF

A pen holder prepared to be printed with a 3D printer. This has mainly been raised with different compartments that could have different uses within what would be office supplies:

  • A cylindrical shape in which we could leave the writing material we have, be it pencils, pens or highlighters.
  • Next to this cylinder we have 2 rectangular holes in which we could leave clips, pencil sharpeners, erasers or a block of posits if we use it and it falls within the dimensions of this.
  • The front part has been raised with a hole in which we can leave our mobile or if we choose to leave some other element that we do not want to put in the cylindrical part, such as a small ruler or scissors.

How I Designed This

This pen holder was a design practice from when I started studying a course on 3D printing. Where we were asked to create a design using the 3D Onshape web design software of an object to be printed in 3D, but with the peculiarity that we had to use 6 different tools from this platform. For this, he decided to create some practical element for the office that would be quite common and useful for its possible user.
