A friend of mine was looking to remove the armrest from his Piper P-28 airplane to add a little more room to the cabin. He still needed an interior handle to close the door so I designed this one for him. It consists of a “washer” plate and screw cap which sandwich a piece of 1" nylon webbing. All that covered with a decorative piece that's held on by a 3/8" long #4 plastite thread forming screw. They're absolutely amazing for printed plastic parts.

I printed it in Prusament PC Carbon Fiber as it's just about the only think I trust to take any sort of load at summer-in-a-vehicle temperatures.

You have to print two to make a complete handle One of those two needs to be mirrored in the slicer because the screw from the original armrest goes in the door card at an angle. You'll also need to buy shorter screws than the original armrest had.
