Tiny Epic Galaxies Insert v2 now!

Model Description:

This is a simple insert for the base game of Tiny Epic Galaxies.

My goal with this design was a simple clean storage solution for the components and cards in order to keep everything from getting all mixed up in the box.  The player boards and the rules fit nicely on the top of the tray as well.

Update:

I have updated the model following feedback from others and after using the original model for some time.

I have made a few adjustments/improvements to this model.

• Added a side cutout for the player pieces allowing easier removal
• Longer overall tray to fit the box better
• Player piece trays made longer to allow better fit of pieces
• Deeper card tray
• Added cutout section to top of tray to store player boards nicely in tray

Card Sleeves used:

I used generic cheap penny sleeves with this game.  They are a bit large for the cards and are very thin.  Dimensions: 67.5mm x 93.7mm

Print Instructions:

I printed these at a layer height of 0.20mm with a 10% infill. I added a brim to the Gcode file just in case; feel free to remove it for your printing.

Please use version 2 as it is a better iteration overall, but I have left the stl and FreeCad file of version 1 if you are curious/want that one instead

How I made this:

I made this in FreeCAD and most of the model is parametric for ease of modification.
