Popularly called a spectacle helm, this form of head protection was used throughout Europe during the early Middle Ages and is associated with many martial ethnicities. Surviving examples are exceedingly rare and this model is inspired by the Viking Gjermundbu helmet that is on show in the Museum of Oslo. It comes with a typical sword of the period. Wearing it during ship battles, coastal raids on monasterys and while fighting Saxons is optional.

I recommend printing the helmet upright, with supports, and adjusting the size to one appropriate to your noggin in your slicer (the existing STL prints at the size in the illustration with the ponytail in that belonging to a 10-year-old).

I hope you like it!
