NOT YET FLIGHT-TESTED.

6mm thick, and solid. Compared with Lapjoint's ironically one-piece model, this lap-jointed model is 80% thicker. Because I like my boomerangs stiff and not too light.

I added four two-dime pockets and some leading-edge underside beveling. These modifications are in the slicer projects rather than in their embedded STLs, for increased ease of further experimentation. The eight dimes add weight to the boomerang without altering its center of gravity.

Weight93 grams
Length292 millimeters

Instructions

  1. Print the parts. Since this model is right-handed, lefties will need to print mirror images of the arms.
  2. Learn to throw and catch your boomerang.
  3. Tune your boomerang as needed. Heat will be necessary. Pouring a bit of boiling water over any part that you wish to bend will temporarily soften it to make that possible.
