I bought a Cross Wrench for the E3D Nozzle on the Aliexpress.
It was extremely cheap at around $2 including shipping.
I was surprised to see the actual product that arrived.
The part to be grasped by hand is small, only 24mm.
With this, it is only long enough to be pinched between your thumb and forefinger, so you can turn the nozzle. I can't apply enough force. It is practically useless.
In order to solve this problem, the gripper was modeled.
PETG was used as the filament material.
No raft, no brim, no support.
Use heat when loosening or tightening the nozzle.
I was worried that the heat at this time would be transmitted to the PETG handle through the cross wrench and soften the PETG, but I found that there was no problem unless I worked for a long time.
This cross wrench is also sold on Amazon USA. The URL is below.
2023/12/05 correction:A reader pointed out that the groove was too narrow to fit into. So he bought two new wrenches and upon inspection, found that the side branches were slightly thicker than the previous wrenches. So we revised the design.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
