The Dometic Fantastic Fan dome lid has a metal track that screws directly into the plastic. Over time the plastic becomes brittle and the constant tension from the lift arm holding the lid down causes the mounting points to shatter. This simple print goes over the original mounting points and provides reinforcement. This will work before or after the plastic has shattered.

It is highly recommended to epoxy in the new part so it does not rely on the factory mounting points staying intact.

Recommended to print with a high temp filament as it can get quite hot in the sun under the semi-transparent cover. I used Carbon Fiber reinforced PETG.

You may need to move the screw holes, the factory does not seem to make them carefully.
