A 2 part back plate for a manokit/ shark fin/ wing design to wear with a shirt. The plate with the straps works like a backpack and goes under the shirt, the part that has the fin attached goes over the shirt and slides into the channel. You will still need to carve or print a fin to attach to it.
I might add some magnets to snap the spine in place but for now i think this will do.
To make a full harness you'll also need 2cm wide nylon webbing roughly 2 meters.
The thickest part of T spine attaches to the fin itself made out of foam. (Or perhaps a 3D printed one but I have neither found nor designed one so if that's your jam go ham!)
If you plan on wearing this with thicker clothing like hoodies I recommend scaling the spine plate slightly in the Z axis. For thinner garments like t shirts the size is perfect and the fabric provides extra grip.
To slide the fin in you pinch the fabric just above the harness and then when you slide it in you lightly pull upwards.
Please dont sell blank prints. you can however use this for commissions or sell fully completed works.
