The existing connectors broke so, of course, I was tasked with making new ones. The tubes are approx ½" in diameter.
The attached scad file is sort of parametric except at the very bottom where I had to “adjust” the starting points of the holes so that they didn't cross into each other's space and still leave as much support as possible. The end result fits our dryer even with some of the original connectors in place. However, I'm printing more replacements as I write this.
I'm using the new version of Prusa Slicer with the new organic supports. This makes getting the support out of the holes much easier.
I printed this using PLA at .30 draft mode with 20% infill. It's a snug fit and I had to use sand paper to get all of the support strings out so that the tubes would fit snugly and yet be removable.
