Increased size of mounting plates & slots in the fender
This allows more movement to accommodate suspension travel
Important: Do not glue fender to the mounting plates. It must be able to slide, due to the suspension travel.
Print Instructions:
Fender
Use flexible material like TPU, so it has some give and freedom to move when you ride.
Print standing up, potentially with a brim
My settings:
90A TPU
15 mm brim
0.6 mm nozzle
0.3mm layer height
Mudguard Mounting Plate
Use a hard material like PETG or ASA
Print this piece on its side
My settings:
Carbon-fiber infused PETG
0.6mm nozzle
0.3mm layer height
Kickstand Mounting Plate
Two flavors available:
Default - just the mounting bracket for the Kickstand mount
License Plate - mounting bracket with an 80x80 panel, to attach a license plate (This fits the license stickers for Dutch Scootmobil Insurance)
Print this in two pieces if you want to avoid supports (In case you want to print it in one piece, there is also a whole STEP file available)
If you print the version with the license plate panel, there is a separate insert available that you can use to glue the whole license plate panel together and attach your license sticker to. This is not required for the default version of this bracket.
Use a hard material like PETG or ASA
My settings:
I use the version with the license plate panel
I printed the two halves, to avoid supports and glued the license plate insert to it
Carbon-fiber infused PETG
0.6mm nozzle
0.3mm layer height
Assembly Instructions:
Push the two pieces of the kickstand-mounting-bracket into the bottom end of the fender.
Push the mudguard mounting bracket into the other end of the fender, which has the sides cut out.
Do not apply glue to join the mounting plates to the fender! The fender must slide to accommodate for the suspension travel.
Attach the mudguard mounting plate to the mudguard on the EUC. You can use…
double-sided tape (3M VHB tape works well), or
flexibly-curing construction glue (like UHU Poly Max Power), or
velcro or dual-lock
Screw the kickstand mounting bracket to the kickstand rail.
You can screw the stock rubber feet right on to the bracket, or
Alternatively, use this kickstand design, which provides more stability for the kickstand.
