Looking around I couldn't find a means to mount my BTT TFT50 Touchscreen to my Voron0, So I decided to make one :). Be mindful that this suits the 0.2 style legs and not the 0.1.

Please note: The original frame insert was backwards (my bad) however the current STLs are correct and can be printed as normal or with  mesh on the inside. This was designed to match up with the side skirt one piece designed by Lab3dp found here: https://www.printables.com/model/364445-voron-02-v02-side-skirt-one-piece

You probably could print everything support free, I personally used some supports for the frame insert onto the build plate.

The screen cover is just pressed over the top of the screen and is held in place by tabs. Assembly should be quick, clean and painless offering a rigid mount for your screen!

I have left plenty of space clear to the right of the logo for you to add in your serial number! emboss depth should be 1mm like the logo. Prusaslicer works really well for adding text, make sure you choose the “cut” function. I have included the settings I would try, but I'm not at home at the moment to print one out and see how it goes. Obviously print with the face on the build plate and pause at 1mm layer height if you want to change colours over like I did.

Enjoy!

Update 18/07/23:

I have tried remodelling the clips to be less likely to snap on the original file however, I have also made up a file where you can try printing the clips separately, then glue them into the housing. This should make them much stronger and more reliable. I am not currently home to try out this new model, so please be aware that it may not be perfect, but any feedback before I get home will help hone in on a good working model :)

I have also fixed the frame insert so that it is now mounted the correct way around and included an optional “mesh” model. To add the mesh, I like to add a generic box modifier on Prusaslicer about 1mm tall, and change the layers and perimeter settings to 0 top and bottom layers with infill set to the percentage and style you like the look of. Do a filament change @ 1mm layer height for an awesome looking two tone skirt.
