Flexible segmented vacuum hose for drill press with parametric FreeCAD design

This is my take on a segmented vaccum hose. It is parametric and can be adjusted within quite a range with very basic FreeCAD knowledge.

The 3mf and gcode files here are for a segmented hose with approx. 40mm inner diameter. The inlet will fit inside a vacuum hose with approx 38mm diameter.

The FreeCAD (version 0.20.2) models are adjustable (within reason) by just typing in the parameters in the table named “D” for dimensions. Best check the middle part of the video. 

Printing advice:

1. use 0.6mm nozzle
2. use PETG for flexibility
3. print 2 links first to check if the default fit works out for you

Needed hardware:

1x M6 bolt and matching wingnut
