Super Soaker Garden Hose Adaptor

I found my old SuperSoaker SwitchShot in the Basement and enjoyed it again during the Heatwave.
Only one issue, the watertank that I have only contains ~500ml of water.

Since i am always close to a garden hose anyways i made this adaptor to fit into the Magazine slot which allows you to attach a garden hose with Quick connect. No more refilling, just having fun in the Heat.

Technical Stuff ----------------------------------------------

• I modified it slightly with lower diameter to be thicker, the decreased Diameter doesnt influence the watergun but allows for more material in the connector.
• I used PETG to print it, with 10 wall loops, 20 top shell layers (to give the connector a stable base which doesnt break easily), and 8 Bottom shell layers. I used 18% Adaptive cubic infill and a .2 mm layer height. The line width is .8mm, only because i used a .6mm nozzle and i wanted this model to be 100% up to the task
• Using A single O-Ring at the connector allows for almost leak free connection to the Garden hose

You could probably use way less Walls and shells and be totally fine! My print used 117g of PETG and is complete overkill - i just didnt want to print one “weak” model only for it to fail.

I printed it in the weak direction with the connector on the Top, so far this seems to work great due to the decreased hole size of the connector
