I created this model to have a pretty and practical way to keep paper towels in the kitchen. It shares a base design with a reusable towel holder seen in the back of the pictures.
The model is very stable, the piece of wood adds weight and the roll fits tightly. Pressing down on the top part puts pressure on the rubbery feet for a good grip.
You need to print 1 main part (paper-holder-main.stl), 1 head, and 4 feet. Additionally, the model relies on a piece of wood of 1x1 inch about the length of the roll of paper. I also used self-adhesive bumpers under the feet to prevent slipping.
The main part is difficult to print. Because of the curves bridges are limited. I recommend using tree supports and patience when cleaning it.
I printed the 4 feet upside down using classic supports. The feet have an orientation and should be a snug fit. The feet have holes to insert self-adhesive 3/8 in bumpers and prevent slipping.
Printing with PLA should be enough. The version pictured uses Bambulab silk PLA copper.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
