This is a remix of two great designs. I combined the quick tool changer from ProperPrinting with the X carriage for the i3 Pro B from hidius and I am more than happy with the results.
My printer is a Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B but this probably also fits other printers with the same gantry. The design is also made for a back mounted BLtouch. The required part for that you can find in the part list for the Hero Me hotend. You also will have to change the X endstop. I included a modified mount for that as well, thanks to the design of ant0ny I just had to slightly adjust. If you dont use my BLtouch mount, you can just use the original design. Same counts for the handle if you dont have a cable chain.
I also made a set of tools as my goal was to use the printer as plotter and milling tool. So far I have:
Since I wanted to keep the reduction of Y space to a minimum, you cant use the original base plate as you need cutouts for the zip ties and the bearings (Igus RJ4JP-01-08 ).
If you enjoy this it would be great if you could give me feedback in the comments, a like and post a make if you did this.
