Note: my MK4 enclosure is still in progress. Waiting for the panels, then it will be upmost finished. Wait for MMU3, then a new adventure is "written on the wall". LOL!!
I took Darragh's design for the front and rear part of the case for my 7" Elecrow touch display and reworked it.
I let the basics "as is", then added mount flanges right and left, a 2020-profile (20mm x 20mm) compatible case hinge (only one stl, print in normal and mirrored). A “Elecrow”-text version is here, as well a blank one without “Elecrow”-text, for your convenience.
My favourite after several trials is following: display inside the enclosure (I do not use much heat in the enclosure, ABS works with this as well. Others than PLA, PETG, TPU not tried. So temperature in the enclosure is not crucial nor important. I mount the display under the top 2020 profile. Two “snap-in” parts (top and bottom) securely hold the display in adequate position, either showing to the front, or disappearing swivelled up towards the top acrylic plate. Mounting under the 202-profile I gave the name: “Case…-South-version”.
The case (from Darragh) was changed also thet six self-tapping screws secure the display from handling with your fingers. Some hinge extensions were made, so it fits the case hinge.
First I tried to mount the display on top of the 2020-profile, but I did not really like this. I dropped that solution, although the adapted case (front and rear) are in the download file section, "Case…-North-version".
The files section for download consist of:
A) Mounted on top of 2020 Profile ("North"):
B) Mounted UNDER the 2020 Profile ("South"):
Most parts printed on my MK3 and MK4. Print material I recommend is PETG, maybe ABS is a good option too.

Credits to @Darragh for his design. The display fits seamlessly into the front and back! Good job!
