Snub Nose Ice Scoop for Countertop Ice Makers

This is a variation of my previous two piece ice scoop with traditional handle. I found that the traditional handle that sticks out the back is a problem in the deep ice compartments of countertop ice makers. This design completely solves the problem by positioning a two finger grip ring above the scoop instead of behind.

Holder with screw holes and without are provide to mount on any vertical surface like the side of the ice maker. I used double-back tape and/or 3M command strips to mount on the side of my ice maker.

Print the handle and holder on the side edge and main scoop it's flat bottom. I used PLA but ASA would allow one to run it through the dishwasher.

The design is parameterized so anyone with a working install of Fusion 360 should be able to customize the model. Also a step file is included to import into other software.

Two M3 screws are need to attach the handle, 5mm or 6mm should work. I used roundhead but any should work.
