Castles of Burgundy Special Edition (2023)
The tray provided that is meant to sit on the table was a little too flimsy and not divided very well for the cardboard pieces. It also tended to slip down toward the sides in the box making it more difficult to put on the cover piece. This is just a solid tray that mostly mimics the original with some slight improvments to divide the hexes and make some of the pieces easier to grab.
This was only designed with the cardboard tokens in mind. I do not have the acrylic tokens. This tray holds the metal coins, worker tiles, white hexes, animal hexes, ship hexes, mine hexes, and the knowledge hexes. The animal and knowledge hexes have a home here just to make packing up the bags easier. Any empty spaces can be used to place discarded tokens during the game.
Took me about 11 hrs to print and about 140g of filament. I only had 2 layers for top and bottom. That makes the surfaces a little flimsy, but plenty strong enough fpr this
UPDATE
Made a slightly different version since I just got the acrylic tiles. I wanted everything to fit cleanly in the box without having to print everything.
I removed the bottom tray with all the vineyard goods and trade routes and put them in the L-tray. Using the Larger acrylic tray to hold the grape hexes and all the expansion acrylic tiles. Most of the hexes stay in the bags and just stuff around the new acrylic tray.
This new tray is built to hold the white, blue, red, and grey tiles in whatever way you want by printing slip-in dividers. There is still enough room that you could stuff in other tiles from the bags if you want a little more room to play with.
