Under Brim Light Clip

This is a replacement clip for a light I got from Ace Hardware on a whim.  The light clips under the brim of a baseball cap and is fantastic, but was cheaply made.  The original clip broke within the first 10 days of use.

I designed this to replace the broken clip.  I saved the screws and reused them.  I did have to add a counter-sink to the screw holes for the screws to be long enough, but it's a perfect fit.

I'll admit, it does look a little weird, but it works!
