This is a series of bases for Arduino UNO and similar expansion boards. I wanted a solid base to keep my boards along with a typical 830-pin breadboard for my projects.

I was initially inspired by Dimiwit-Dave's designs but since those designs use non-practical (for me) breakouts and DC buck converters I didn't really use that much, I kept the dimensions and designed my own on Tinkercad.

I have created (so far) two versions.

Version A can hold two boards with Arduino UNO dimensions. In my case, I placed an Arduino UNO R3 (R4/Leonardo also fits fine) on the left and an expansion board for a 30-pin ESP32 module, which has exactly the same dimensions as an UNO on the right.

Version B can hold an Arduino Nano Expansion Board on the left, along with a 38-pin ESP32 Expansion Board on the right. A little warning: The screw holes for the 38-pin board are quite narrow, because the specific board has a lot of solder joints near the holes which interfered with the screw bases. Do not use much force when screwing as they might break.

I used standard M2x6 SCHS screws for all boards.

I have also made a remixed version of Parametric Rugged Box, ideal for those boards in case you want a box to store / carry them around. You can download it here!

I hope you like my designs. Feel free to message me if something is wrong. I would love to see your makes and comments!

Nikos.
