I had printed out the original Filler arm and did not like how it operated. With 608RS bearings, it spun too freely, and kept unwinding my filament spool. With 608ZZ, it was too stuff, and would just friction roll.

Also, the lip at the end did not seem tall enough, and with little force, the spool could come off the end.

I had printed out a different spool holder arm for a different part of my metal shelving, and it worked well. So I simply combined them!

You can use the STL as-is, or you can modify the scad file. However, if you modify the scad file, you will need a local copy of the '3DPNFilHoldGuide.stl' from thing:3020026.

This takes the scad file from thing:2391667, tweaks it slightly, and allows you to hook it up to the Filler set.

It is not 100% perfect, but it gets the job done.

Post-Printing

Had to file down the edges that fit into the connector due to being too tight.

How I Designed This

Simply took the scad file from thing:2391667, removed the bits I didn't want, then import '3DPNFilHoldGuide.stl' from thing:3020026, cut it down to size within openscad, shifted it around, and merged them together.
