I wanted a different order of filters in my Bento Box v2. Activated carbon can be very dusty and I don't want that dust in my printer. This remix provides two new models to use alongside the original Bento Box 2:
Both HEPA boxes are half the height of the original HEPA box. If you use both, then you can have two HEPA filters, one before and one after the carbon. This is probably not useful, but you can use an empty top box to keep the original bento box height.
If using two HEPA filters, you will want to have high-pressure fans. More commonly I suggest using just the new bottom HEPA box to prevent any carbon dust going into your printer.
Update: I’ve not found carbon dust to be such an issue in practice, and I’m no longer using a HEPA after the carbon. I’ve gone back to original design. This model still works though for anyone who wants it.
If you want to remix this further, the CAD design is available in OnShape.
