Wall or ceiling register vent cover for 4" duct - single piece print

This vent cover is for a 4" thin wall pvc (sewer pipe) used as an airduct. (NOTE!! This will not fit schedule 40 PVC unless you modify the size of the file when slicing!)  It will also fit sheet metal duct if you use the crimped end of the metal duct. I was working on a whole house vent system and in a retrofit application, the 4" pvc pipe works great. But vent covers are hard to find.  I'm sure this model could be adapted to other duct sizes by scaling the model when you slice it. Vent cover is 157mm square and requires a 121 mm square hole in the wall.  I hold my vent cover to the wall using 3M Command Strips along the back of the flange to avoid screws showing. Note: This vent fits really snug, so it may be necessary to slot the pipe to allow it to slide in to the vent cover.  It will also fit sheet metal duct if you use the crimped end of the metal duct.  Attach the duct to the pipe using aluminum tape.

The model will print in one piece with no supports.
