WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter Wind Vane

Wind vane attachment for WeatherFlow's WEATHERmeter.

A single 608 bearing (22mm x 8mm x 7mm) required for assembly. Base has standard ¼-20 threading for tripod mount.

There are two base models, one where the top peg (that goes into the bearing) has a diameter of 8.0mm and the other with a diameter of 8.1mm.

There are three variations of the wind vane:

1. Printed counterweight - model must be printed at 100% infill to put the center of gravity directly above the rotation point for proper balance.
2. Manual counterweight - can be used as-is, or manually balanced by gluing weights (eg. 7 M6 nuts) to the front end.
3. No counterweight - should only be used with high quality bearing with little to no slop.
