In this model, I aimed to create a custom tool that can hold all kinds of tapes and provide the ease of use of a tape dispenser. The design can further be customized by mounting custom designs to the body with the blade.
Even though the design might seem complicated, the assembly is relatively easier. To start the assembly, you will need one printout of these files: “stick,” “turntable," “rail,” and “body_and_blade.” Also, three printouts of these files: “holder," and “holder_cap” three times. After printing, place the holders - in order - through the turntable and the rails. Then, screw them in place with holder caps, but the holders should be able to move. After adjusting the size according to the tape of your choice, lock the holders in place with the locking built-in mechanism on the turntable and rail. Finally, insert the “stick” through the side with holders and screw to the body with the blade.
Congratulations, you now have an adjustable all-tapes tape dispenser. If you have improvement ideas, don't hesitate to leave a comment. Have a great day!
