This model utilizes a metal rod/tube to hold multiple rolls of tapes against a 25.4mm/1'' spacing pegboard. Also works for wire spools and other cylindrical objects such as bottles or cats. Four common sizes of metal rod/tube can be used: 8mm, 10mm, 5/16'', 3/8'', which are commonly available in hardware store. If you make a lot of stuff, you probably have some in your scarp bin right now.
For the standard design (no “small” in the file name), only one metal rod/tube is needed, as tape roll is hold between the rod and the pegboard itself. For the design for smaller tapes ("small" in file name), 2 rods are needed instead. The problem here is for small tape rolls, they can lose more than 50% of their diameter from full to used-up (like electrical tape). This means if only one rod is used, if the rod barely works for full size of tape roll, the tape will fall through when used up. On another hand, if the rod barely works for empty size of tape roll, full rolls will roll off outward, so 2 rods is necessary. You can skip the middle rod if this is not a problem for your case.
I printed it with PETG, PrusaSlicer standard config with 15% infill. Any material should work, although extra wall thickness and infill is recommended for weak martials. Everyone's printer is a little bit different, if the rod does fits too lose or too right, try scale the stl before printing. You might also want to print an extra piece to support the tape rack in the center if you make it quite long, like what I did in the photo. This model is designed for both metal and wood pegboard, however because it has to take the thickness of wood pegboard into consideration, it will be a bit lose/sag a little on metal pegboard, which shouldn't cause any problems.
