DC Adapter for Parkside X20v Battery

DC adapter with 5.5 mm jack output for the Parkside X20v series batteries, compatible with all devices that operate at 20v max.

Very useful for the TS-100 soldering iron so that it can be used without the need for household electricity.

Materials:

• 5.5 mm DC males and females Amazon

• Switch with led Amazon
  For the battery contacts you can use 2 copper blades or 6.3 mm male fastons

  For best results print both parts vertically.
  The base requires supports, the top part (cover) does not need supports

  #### Warning!

  The battery does not have discharge protection and therefore it can become dangerous to bring it to too low a voltage. For safety it is better to insert a circuit for lipo 5s that interrupts the output when it detects a battery voltage below a certain threshold.
  In the case of the TS-100 soldering iron, it is sufficient to upgrade it to the open source firmware which integrates the possibility of selecting a lipo battery as power supply and the number of cells (5s), activating the protection on the discharge.

  Adattatore DC con uscita jack da 5,5 mm per le batterie della serie X20v Team Parkside, compatibile con tutti i dispositivi che funzionano a max 20v.

  Molto utile per il saldatore TS-100 in modo da poterlo utilizzare senza bisogno della corrente di casa.

  Materiali:

• Jack e prese DC da 5,5 mm Amazon

• Interruttore con led Amazon
  Per i contatti della batteria è possibile usare 2 lamelle in rame oppure 2 faston maschi da 6,3 mm

  Per un risultato migliore stampare entrambe le parti in verticale.
  La base richiede supporti, la parte superiore (coperchio) non necessita di supporti.

  #### Attenzione!

  La batteria non ha la protezione della scarica e quindi può diventare pericoloso portarla ad un voltaggio troppo basso. Per sicurezza è meglio inserire un circuito per lipo 5s che interrompe l'uscita quando rileva una tensione della batteria sotto una certa soglia.
  Nel caso del saldatore TS-100 è sufficiente aggiornarlo al firmware open source che integra la possibilità di selezionare una batteria lipo come alimentazione e il numero di celle (5s), attivando la protezione sulla scarica.
