RJ-83 Droid from Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures (Black Series) - 1:12 scale

RJ-83 (RJ for short) was the personal droid and friend of Nash Durango, a young pilot and daughter of the owners of Durango Shuttle Company based off of Tenoo on the Outer Rim. RJ was also a friend to the Jedi Initiates Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs during the High Republic Era.

My youngling has become a fan of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, which meant that RJ-83 was going to be created sooner or later. I had to ballpark the scale because of the show's animation style, so this is “vaguely” Black Series scaled.

As with my other models, I designed this for ease of printing on an FDM printer. All parts are already oriented for optimal printing and strength. You'll need to glue the balljoint into the head's cavity - I suggest doing this after attaching it to the hips. I've tapered the cavity to help you center the ball joint. The ball joint socket is a repurposed version of the excellent LUCKY 13 Printable Jointed Figure by soozafone.
