I tend to use my Incra 5000 miter sled to do the final length cut on boards to ensure I get the exact same length for every part. One of the annoying parts of doing this for me was that I always needed to steady the bolt with my finger. This caused me to sometimes have to screw it down then reset because something shifted as the bolt righted itself.
To solve that I created this quick ½" block to butt up against the wood that I could easily steady with my finger.
