After a relatively successful model of a log house in a kit competition, I created a significantly larger and more complex model of a log house for you. I really enjoyed the work, as I already mentioned, I liked to watch the construction of log houses from Pionner Log homes on TV. I tried to create a more realistic look of wooden logs
There are quite a lot of parts, but they are all marked and there should be no problem with the picture instructions.
The parts are sorted according to the construction sequence.
The scale is a little smaller than the previous log model, so that the parts fit on the printing table. To print nice curves of the logs, I recommend printing with a 0.15 mm layer, and a smaller one at the top of the arch.
After building the entire structure of the house, I recommend gluing the roof separately using connectors so that you can take it down and see the structure. The distance aid parts will help you with the correct distance of the roof rafters.
If the bridging is properly set up, supports should not be necessary
For a more realistic look, you can stick shiny foil on the windows and doors
I don't have pictures of the finished house yet, I'm printing the model gradually, I have to order Filament, the wood looks nice with Polymaker PolyTerra PLA Peanut
It took me about 5 weeks to work on the model, most of which was marking the parts, preparing the instructions and exporting the parts.
If there is a problem or something unclear, write to me
