The 'Elster' Pipette Tip Sorting Device is a clever 3d printed tool designed to quickly sort and transfer 200 µL pipette tips into a storage box, eliminating the laborious task of manually sorting pipette tips. We re-share this device here for better distribution (original https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4268044). Is tailored specifically for 200 µL neutral pipette tips from the Sarstedt brand (order no. 70.760.002). The critical measurement for compatibility is the width underneath the edge of the pipette tip head, as the tips will slide on the device's rails at this point.
Here is the link (https://a360.co/2JQscTy) to a parametric Fusion 360 file that allows for customisation based on the diameter measurements at the 'neck' and 'belly' of your specific pipette tips.

To complete the assembly of the 'Elster', you will also need four magnets with a diameter of 3 mm and a height of 2 mm. For successful printing, we recommend using 0.2 mm layer height, 1.2 mm wall thickness (3x 0.4 mm), and 50 % infill density settings. Only three files, 'ElsterM main body', 'ElsterM small parts', and 'ElsterM comb' need to be printed; others are for spare parts.
