These simple tools each hold a single 6mm x 2mm magnet. You can use a compass to determine the proper orientation for a magnet in each tool. The North side of a magnet's needle will point to the South side of a magnet held near it.
In the photos, the yellow tool has an N on it for North, so it will attract the south side of the compass needle. The purple tool has an S on it for South, so it will attract the north side of the compass needle.
The edges of these tools are sharp so they can be used to separate stronger magnets.
