Description

PDF

The following models are broken up into 3 sets: Small, Medium, and Large.

These tools can be used with TinkerCAD to cutout a portion of an existing model, add threads, and provide a cap that can be easily opened and resealed.

We've used these in our libraries makerspace to run TinkerCAD classes for beginners. Choose an object from your favourite online repository, cut out the interior using the bodybottom file, and attach the threads via the inside threads model. Print your newly minted geocache and print the respective cap to go along with it!

I have printed these on our Prusa MK3S+ machines with supports at a layer height of 0.2mm. (PLA) I think the threads can be printed without supports, but I know our machine's support settings are dialed in and very easy to remove.
