Ok soo i just want to leave it really clear here, this is my first ever fully original design mechanism for 3D printers, even tho some trial and error (and fixing) was made (the first image shows a earlier design that didnt hold the canvas very well, but the new one in the second photo does) I ended up with this design.
PS: update, i was able to print both, it FITS!!! (used the “normal bolt” good luck!)
You might want to scale the bolt yourself if you want a tighter screwing, but the way the “normal” is fits for me …
This was made from a FDM printer.
5% Infill seems to get the trick done, havent gone bellow that yet, but it wont need to support a lot of weight soo it doesnt really matter.
As for the design I have right now, its pretty self explanatory, you have a thing that clamps onto the table in other to hold something, this time is for canvas paintings.
You will have to print 2 of each in order for this to work, only this way it wont fall while painting as there will be 4 contact points on the canvas.
There are 3 main positions, each allowing for a higher angle, but you can adjust it yourself as the tips seem to stick pretty well to the canvas.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
