Mitutoyo 522602 Magnetic Caliper Case

For the no longer produced Mitutoyo 522-602 Parallax caliper, designed this as I have a very cramped working desk and the plastic pouch included with the caliper was not so good to store it.

Big, Long and sturdy this case does the job
The magnets i had at hand are of size 6 x 3 mm and they keep it closed very well.

You can cut a letter a 2mm thick foamy sheet at the size of the caliper case upper hole for a tight fit.

-Printed in PETG

-Infill depends of the material but i used 20% gyroid because it looks cool

-0.2mm layer height (I would recommend print at variable layer height as there ate many monotone layers)

-No supports but you need to place the top case with the logo touching the build plate

-Magnets of size 6 x 3 mm IMPORTANT, YOU NEED TO CALIBRATE YOUR PRINTER IN ORDER TO COMPENSATE THE HOLE EXPANSION AS THE DESIGN HOLES ARE EXACTLY 6 X 3 mm. I used shoe glue to keep them in place
