After upgrading a few lights on my car which mind you is a Holden VE with a Pontiac G8 front conversion.
Months after posting this
I've noticed Mars Performance (Melbourne, Australia) no longer sell these fog lights... however they do sell the same looking fog lights for other cars (like this one for a Ford Falcon, this does not mean they are the exact same but they do look identical. However they haven't got any specs listed so I can't compare the size to the ones shown in this project.
Out of the box these aren't designed to fit into the Pontiac G8 bumper, so I had to print brackets which I surprisingly managed to design the bracket to match perfectly.
FUNNY NOTE: Finally releasing this bracket, I'll be able to see who's downloaded it. From all the Pontiac front ends I've seen I'm the only person to have these fog lights.
For greater structure integrity I've managed to model the bracket to perfectly fit the fog light, could be a bit over the top but each to their own.
Modifying Bumper
As seen in the photos below, I've had to grind away the top portion of the bumper, grinding away the factory fog light holding holes.
Wiring
I'm not going into how to wire it all up but the fog light came has a separate wire for the fog light and a wire for the halo light so I obviously wired the fog light into the factory wiring harness and the halo light into an ignition fuse in the engine bay this way they act like DRL lights.
The way I've gone with securing the fog lights in was using L brackets and bolts, NOTE the brackets I used in this photo weren't the final product, I was doing all this late at night and was all I had on hand till the next time I went to the shops. So the way I'd recommend is pretty much the same way but with shorter bolts and proper L brackets I used this from Bunnings. Screwing one end into the fog light itself using bolts and the other end screwing into the bumper using short screws so it doesn't go through the bumper grill (where the fog light pokes through).
Finishing Touch
Once installed and the bumper was re-fitted and the fog lights were even I went around the brackets with black silicone to seal it and kind of glue it in place.
