Having seen cool stands for globes such as: https://www.amazon.com/Diameter-Printed-Yellow-Control-6inch-11Inch/dp/B078XRK9GQ
I searched for one on thingverse. I found the originator from momomona was what I wanted, but had difficulty printing it. The pin and tube connectors did not print well at the scale I wanted and required supports. To fix this, I redesigned the model with dovetail sockets. Now I can print 3 copies in 2 hours and they are ready to snap together without post-print rework. No glue or fasteners required. There is enough flex to bend the last connection into place.
They work great for displaying minerals or supporting globes.
